More than two years ago my life has changed dramatically: I “crossed the ocean” — started working for BA Insight as a Senior Search Solutions Consultant. It’s been one of the best periods of my professional life: I learned and experienced a lot, worked with outstanding colleagues on very nice projects. Could not be more thankful to Jeff Fried and Guy Mounier for allowing me to be part of their team; to Inna, Tucker, Chris, and many others, for being such great colleagues! It has been a real pleasure working with such smart and awesome guys and gals.
But now, it’s time to move on. I’ve decided to leave BA Insight as a full time employee and try something different. This Friday, Feb 8th, 2013 will be my last day there.
What’s next? I’m looking for new and exciting challenges. I will work as an independent consultant, keeping my focus on SharePoint Enterprise Search and content management (ECM) overall. I am also going to write more, promise. I would like to share my experience of many years working with various Search and Information Integration technologies, share tips and tricks, and help companies solve various information access challenges. I have been so lucky to be able to participate and drive Search-focused sessions at many leading tradeshows and events, and I will continue spreading the word on the power of Search and how it can change the way we work.
I’m going to cross one more ocean…
